Callanwolde hosts a poetry reading on various Wednesday evenings. Coordinated by members of the Poetry at Callanwolde committee, guest poets frequently include nationally and internationally-renowned poets, in addition to local talents. Open-mic poetry readings are generally held several times each year, when local poets may sign up to give readings of their own work. Poetry readings are held in the unique setting of the Library in Callanwolde's historic mansion at 980 Briarcliff Rd., NE, Atlanta 30306.
Featured Poets
Poets interested in reading at Callanwolde as a featured poet (one of two poets scheduled for an hour-long program) may submit five poems and a cover letter with bio including publication credits and/or performance history to the selection committee at cfacpoetry@gmail.com
