Callanwolde is one of the most photographed locations in Atlanta. Built in 1920 as the home of Charles Howard Candler, eldest son of Coca-Cola founder Asa Candler, the 27,000 square-feet Gothic-Tudor style mansion has been featured in books, television and motion pictures, and has hosted hundreds of weddings, galas and private events over the years. The Callanwolde mansion is available for special events rental by individuals or organizations for weddings, wedding receptions, cultural tours, convention and corporate luncheons, corporate receptions, marketing and promotional events, educational seminars and training sessions, still and motion picture filming, and private social events.
Rental Availability
Callanwolde is primarily a community fine arts center. Since artistic events have first priority, rental events are scheduled when the date requested is not in use for an artistic event. A date requested for rental is considered upon completion of the rental application and receipt of deposit. Weekend Availability
Callanwolde is rented on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays as an entire facility with the exclusion of the dance studio, music room, and gallery areas. For the exclusive rentals of Callanwolde, the following rates apply for individuals and corporations:

Aeolian Organ
Callanwolde's magnificent historic Aeolian Organ may be rented for use during special events. The rental fee, which is payable to the Callanwolde Guild, goes directly to the organ restoration and maintenance fund and does not include the organist fee. Please contact the Rentals Office at (404) 872-5338 for more information about rental fees for the organ. Callanwolde has a list of acceptable organists. All other organists must meet the approval of the organ restoration committee. The Aeolian organ has been fully-restored and is monitored regularly by a professional company.
Concert Pianos
A Baldwin Concert Grand Piano is available for use in the Courtyard only. An upright Wurlitzer Piano is available for use in any of the rooms on the lower level. Specially requested tuning of either of these instruments will be subject to an additional charge to the renter.
Available Equipment
The Callanwolde kitchen may be used for holding and heating foods prepared off-site. In addition, Callanwolde offers the following equipment for complimentary use during rental times:

Parking
Callanwolde has space for approximately 120 cars on premises. If additional parking spaces are needed, Callanwolde will arrange for an alternate parking area in close proximity to Callanwolde. Renter will be responsible for providing shuttle service should the renter deem it necessary. Callanwolde does not provide shuttle service and can only clear parking one month prior to the date of the event. Callanwolde parking is not available during weekday rentals due to classes being in session.
Alcohol on Premises
As of January 1, 2008, Callanwolde's designated in-house beverage provider must provide all beverage service at Callanwolde. The rental manager can provide you with more information.
