Located in Atlanta's Druid Hills neighborhood, the magnificent 27,000 square ft. Gothic-Tudor style mansion is situated on a 12.5-acre estate of beautifully landscaped gardens and wooded grounds and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Completed in 1920, Callanwolde was the home of Charles Howard Candler, eldest son of The Coca-Cola Company founder Asa Candler. The Callanwolde mansion has been featured in books, television, and motion pictures and has hosted thousands of weddings, galas and private events over the years. It's your mansion for the day! Celebrate your wedding or a special private or corporate event in style at Callanwolde’s majestic historic estate in Atlanta. Choose from Callanwolde’s Gothic-Tudor mansion with its’ walnut paneling, stained-glass windows, grand staircase and fully enclosed courtyard or the newly restored lush outdoor gardens or retreat. Callanwolde is rented weekdays, weekends and holidays as an entire facility with the exclusion of the gallery area. In the mansion, the event seating capacity is 250.

Celebrate the holidays at our house this year during Christmas at Callanwolde. The magnificent Gothic-Tudor mansion will be furnished and decorated for the holidays by Atlanta’s top interior and floral designers. A breathtaking historic estate, Callanwolde offers the perfect backdrop for large and small corporate or private parties, tours and fundraising events for groups of 50 to 350.
Private rentals are available on select dates from December 6 through 17, 2013. Special rates and times will be available during Christmas at Callanwolde. Newly Restored Retreat
Tucked away in the woodland gardens stands the original Callanwolde Pool House, renamed the Samuel Goldman Retreat. The 1920's building was fully restored to replicate all of its historic details with vaulted ceilings, granite floors, stone fireplace, and wood trim. The Retreat is the perfect location for intimate luncheons, receptions, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, corporate meetings and retreats, with a seated capacity of 50.

Gardens and Grounds
Callanwolde’s 12.5 acres of lush gardens and wooded grounds are tiered with stone walls and gravel pathways, and include a circular council ring, a hydrangea memorial garden, a wooden arbor, completely restored formal gardens, and a terraced lawn area. Some outdoor settings may be used for ceremonies and social gatherings.
Aeolian Organ
Callanwolde's magnificent historic Aeolian Organ may be rented for use during special events. The rental fee goes directly to the organ restoration and maintenance fund and does not include the organist fee. The Aeolian organ has been fully-restored and is monitored regularly by a professional company. Conservatory
The Conservatory at Callanwolde, the original historic green house, may be rented by special arrangement.
Amenities
The Callanwolde mansion and retreat kitchens may be used for holding and heating foods prepared off-site. In addition, Callanwolde offers the following equipment during rental times:
Parking
Callanwolde has space for approximately 150 cars on site. If additional parking spaces are needed, Callanwolde will arrange for an alternate parking area in close proximity to Callanwolde. Renter will be responsible for providing shuttle service should the renter deem it necessary. Callanwolde does not provide shuttle service and can only clear parking one month prior to the date of the event.
Alcohol on Premises
Renters may bring their own alcoholic beverages, however they must use a licensed bartender throughout the event.
